Challenge Flapjack!
This my lovely readers is a flaptastic baking challenge to really get your teeth into. With a £50 Sainsbury’s voucher up for grabs as the prize, I can’t think of a better excuse to roll your sleeves up, don your apron and get your hands properly sticky! Just think how handy that £50 voucher would be for the Christmas shopping.
Take a look at the three questions below and if you answer yes to at least one of them, you totally qualify to enter!
So…
Have you created a flapjack recipe that has your family and friends queuing down the street just for a slice?
Or…
Do you fancy getting your thinking cap on and coming up with a flapjack recipe that would make Mary Berry ask for seconds? (Now that really is a challenge after what she said at the Cake and Bake show)
Or maybe…
You have a flapjack recipe that has come through generations of your family and is still a firm favorite?
Which one did you tick? You see I just know that this little oatilicious competition is perfect for you.
How to enter
To enter all you need to do is tell me about your flapjack recipe.
If you are a blogger, please blog your recipe making sure that you link back to this post, (http://wp.me/p2s73U-Of), tag Homemade by Fleur and use the competition badge below. You’ll also need to tweet (@homemadebyfleur) using #challengeflapjack or email ([email protected]) to give me the link to your post. I’ll retweet any tweets that I see.
If you have already blogged a flapjack recipe recently then you can use that too. I’m more than happy to save you doing additional work when you don’t need to. Just add the badge below and tweet about your post to enter.
If you don’t have a blog, all you need to do is write out your recipe, attach a photo and email it to me at [email protected]
The deadline for entries is Sunday 21st October, so you’ll need to be quick. I’ll be posting a round up of all the entries by the 26th October and from this Sainsburys will pick their winner. They will be looking for the most innovative and tasty recipe.
For Inspiration you might want to take a look at my no added sugar fruity flapjacks or watch Holly Bell from Bake Off fame make an autumnal themed flapjack with apples and blackberries. I have also created a flapjack board on Pinterest full of some excellent flapjack ideas.
Good Luck!! I look forward to your entries.
Thank you to Sainsbury’s for providing the £50 voucher for the prize.

I do like my flapjacks and have created any number of tasty ones. The latest was posted last month – can that be used or does it have to be one posted this month?

Can we use old posts? I don’t normally do this, but I made some brilliant flapjacks a couple of months ago…

Hi, yes that will be fine to enter old posts as long as you add the relevant badge and tweet about the post. I have amended to post above to say that as well. Look forward to seeing your entry.

Hi Fleur,
I am a big flapjack fan, so will see if I have a recipe to add for this challenge xx

That would be great. You can use one that you have already blogged if that is easier.
