Great British Hamper Tower – Giveaway #3 (Now Closed)

August 24, 2012 by Fleur in Giveaways & Competitions with 45 Comments

british-tower-hamper giveawayI has to be said, I’m pretty excited about being able to offer this lovely Great British Hamper Tower courtesy of Hampergifts as a giveaway on my blog.   I know I’m not the only one to have thoroughly enjoyed the Jubilee and Olympic celebrations over the summer and for me the feeling of jubilation is still in the air, even if the bunting is now a little faded.  I’m currently getting my hit of British fever from the new series of Great British Bake Off.  My excitement about this starting was ridiculous and I’m loving it.  Tuesday night is now the new Saturday night don’t you know!!

So with all this love of Britain, a hamper which is full of British foodie treats could well be the most perfect giveaway at this moment in time.  This hamper comes presented in 7 blue and silver gift boxes stacked on top of one another to make an impressive tower and is then hand tied with a lovely big red, silver and blue ribbon. Their other beautifully crafted hampers would make a fabulous Christmas gift and would not complain if someone sent me one that is for sure.  The contents include:

Cottage Delight Summer Berries Jam 340g (perfect for scones)

Chocolate Flapjack 120g

Spicy Tomato Chutney 42g

Cottage Delight Bramley Apple Sauce 200g

Simply Delicious Yorkshire Butter Toffee 125g

The Wooden Spoon Citrus Grapefruit & Lime Marmalade 42g

Lancashire Crumble Fudge Cubes 140g (could cut up and mix these into your next cupcake batter maybe)

The Wooden Spoon Wholegrain Mustard & Spitfire Ale 42g

Lemon Butter Shortbread Bites 100g

New English Teas English Breakfast Tea x 10 Envelopes

Moist Sultana Flapjack 120g

Cottage Delight Handmade Barley Sugar Sticks 60g (like the sound of these a lot!)

Edinburgh Tea & Coffee Co. Fresh Ground Breakfast Coffee 56g

The best part of this summer has been spending it with my two bundles of joy as I have been of maternity leave from March. Back to work in a fortnight though. Think I picked the best six months though with the jubilee and Olympics success.
